Our school serves the educational needs of families in Indian Harbour Beach, Satellite Beach, South Merritt Island, and surrounding communities, including Melbourne. Classes are provided for children ages 18 months through 6 years in Montessori preschool and kindergarten, and we exclusively serve first through sixth grade Montessori elementary students. Especially for Children/Indian Harbour Montessori is an American Montessori Society (AMS) certified, and accredited by the Florida Kindergarten Council (FKC) and National Private Schools Association (NIPSA). Our Directresses are certified through accredited Montessori Teaching Programs.

It is the mission of Indian Harbour Montessori to provide a stimulating, respectful and harmonious environment based upon the philosophy of Maria Montessori. Children are encouraged, through thinking and reasoning skills, to conduct themselves as individuals in preparation for lifelong learning. Our school's overall philosophy is that all children pass through a well-defined sequence of steps to maturity at differing rates of growth, and in different ways. We believe that growth is as individual as each child. Our school is proud to have a solid and dedicated MPTO that supports the many extra-curricular activities and events at our school.
