"The 5th and 6th graders in Room 22 at Indian Harbour Montessori, had a special guest speaker today about the solar eclipse. Mr. Czarniak a parent of a 6th grader, is a working scientist and former Astronomy teacher, talked Solar Eclipse today with the students. He gave hands of lessons, Montessori style to exemplify how this is going to happen. He has been waiting for 28 years to see this eclipse. He was thrilled to see that the students had made their own viewers to use on Monday, 8-21-17."

Students working together is what Indian Harbour Montessori is all about. Sixth graders mentoring Kindergarten students and painting posts for our all classroom Art installation at the front of the school. More to come, this week!
A special thank you to Mrs. Gloddy for all her work, a labor of love in making our planters and installing the triangular topiaries and flowers. It is a gorgeous entry to Indian Harbour Montessori and our Art Garden!
