During the month of February our elementary students participated in a fundraising drive to help find a cure for Leukemia & Lymphoma. Our goal was to reach $1,000.00. Not only did we reach our goal, but we exceeded it raising $1,053.91.
Also, the class with the top average participated in a spaghetti lunch from Olive Garden.

About Pastas for Pennies
Since 1994, millions of dollars have been raised in pennies and other spare change by more than 10 million elementary, middle and high school students throughout the country. The funds, collected during a three-week period, benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Everyone who participates is a winner!
Students across the country collect pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters during the Pennies for Patients campaigns benefiting the Society. The Pennies for Patients campaign began in the Society’s North Carolina Chapter in 1995.
Decade of Difference Award
Indian Harbour Montessori was also presented with a “Decade of Difference” award for participating in Student Series programs for 10 or more consecutive years!
